ABOUT ME
Greetings, stranger, and welcome to my very own little corner of the internet!
My name is SaberCatProductions, but please, save yourself from writing out a nineteen-letter long name and simply call me Saber! I am an asexual aromantic, English content creator who commits treason against their country, the United Kingdom of Great Britian, by disliking tea, having good dental hygiene, and preferring croissants to crumpets.
Among other things, I am a hobbyist artist, author, composer and designer, with a wide array of average to admirable skills and far too many interests for my own good. In whatever free time I have outside of my studies, I enjoy creating my own music, covering existing songs, drawing, and storytelling, and one day hope to combine these interests into a project for others to enjoy. I hope that you stick around for the journey!
GAMING PROJECTS

DANGANRONPA V3: REIMAGINED
Danganronpa V3: Reimagined is currently a conceptional fan-game of Spike Chunsoft's Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, combining two-dimensional, top-down role-playing game features with the original visual novel style of the Danganronpa series, to retell the sinister game of life and death in a way that you have never seen before.
All information provided is accurate as of Sunday 30th March, 2025.
How does Danganronpa V3: Reimagined differ from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony?
CAST
The cast of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony that you know and love return to Danganronpa V3: Reimagined, better than ever. The original backgrounds, lore, and origins of every character has been adapted and expanded upon to give them fuller and more interesting histories that impact each student in a believable, more realistic manner.A character’s health and lifestyle, including their type of Ultimate Talent and their daily habits, are now reflected in their appearance, adding a more diverse range of body types and features. This means that sedentary characters such as Kaede Akamatsu have more weight, athletic characters such as Tenko Chabashira have visible muscle, outdoorsy characters such as Rantaro Amami have freckles or sunspots, and so on.With the exception of Kokichi Oma who regains his heterochromia from one of his beta designs, the eye colour, hair colour, and skin colour of all students remains the same, while their hair styles take on a more natural (or at the very least, realistically obtainable) appearance. And to top it all off, every student gets a new uniform, designed to more accurately reflect their habits, preferences and talents.
CONDUCT
Whether intended to be a poorly executed attempt at comedy or a case of unapologetic fanservice, you need not look far within the Danganronpa series to find examples of blatantly unnecessary actions, dialogue, or even images of characters acting inappropriately towards one another. Although in reality, it is hardly uncommon for teenagers to make romantically or sexually charged comments or jokes, some characters within the original series seem to lack any boundaries and openly harass or even sexually assault others. These moments rarely, if ever, advance the plot nor develop a character, instead existing simply because the writers willed them to.You can rest assured that in Danganronpa V3: Reimagined, there will be no such scenes. While characters may make jokes of this kind from time to time, and naturally provocative and vulgar individuals will retain their crude nature, there will be no more spontaneous groping, stripping, upskirting, or unexpected trips to the Love Hotel, and that is certainly a sentence I did not imagine I would ever say.
REALISM
Forget about hope and despair, the title of strongest force throughout Danganronpa belongs to something else entirely. From healing deep-rooted trauma in the span of a single conversation, to healing severe, and sometimes even fatal, physical injuries in hours, it would seem that there was no limit to what the power of friendship could achieve.Within Danganronpa V3: Reimagined, characters will have to take a more realistic approach to the problems that they face within the killing game, as well as the problems that some brought with them upon arrival. Although genetic abnormalities, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities clearly exist within the original series, they are usually implied, not named, and often portrayed in inaccurate and sometimes even offensive ways.Danganronpa V3: Reimagined aims to take a more serious approach to this, in which both the canonical and expanded history of characters more realistically impact their behaviour, condition, and personality throughout the reimagined story. What may start as tolerable symptoms of illness, whether that be of body or mind, may become a more significant struggle for certain students as they remain trapped and cut off from the outside world, with no access to their usual treatments.
RELATIONSHIPS
Suspicion runs rampant within the chaos of the killing game. In a situation like this, characters will need to keep their friends close, and their enemies closer. Your decisions will matter more than ever, for students now have the ability to react to and remember your choices, meaning that poor performances and rude behaviour may have consequences. The player will be able to spend more time with the characters that they love, with some students having up to ten free time events and appearing in multiple group events, none of which require specific items to activate. Players are not stuck to one linear conversation but have the ability to ask questions to the students, with more conversation topics being unlocked as the friendship becomes stronger and events occur throughout the story. Gift giving is no longer a requirement to interact with others and is instead an optional way to build the relationship and pass time. Furthermore, once a character considers you a friend, they may opt to give you a unique, personalised gift – and no, it’s not their underwear.A typical dynamic seen within Danganronpa games is having a support character throughout the story to aid the protagonist. This is not the same in Danganronpa V3: Reimagined, with the dual protagonists, Kaede Akamatsu and Shuichi Saihara, both playing crucial roles throughout the story. By strengthening their friendship, they will be able to assist one another in greater ways and grant the player new opportunities within investigations and class trials.
SETTING
The abandoned, overgrown ruins of the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles that you’re familiar with is nowhere to be seen within Danganronpa V3: Reimagined. In its place is a state-of-the-art facility containing the most advanced, expensive and modern equipment, staffed by the greatest teachers, professors and researchers that money could buy. It’s the best of the best, the cream of the crop, and its latest class of Ultimate Students have no idea if they are truly there. The player will find themselves trapped within a claustrophobic, enclosed environment that is only a fraction of the academy that was described. It’s far too empty, sterile and pristine to be an active school, housing a cold, clinical, oppressive atmosphere with no obvious exits nor links to the outside world. In a poor attempt to mimic a real learning environment, the students are provided with daily catering, timetabled lessons, and regular extracurricular activities, but the illusion of normality is soon broken once they realise that every member of staff is a two-toned, robotic teddy bear. If the characters wish to escape, they will have to investigate every nook and cranny, unravel every mystery, and discover every truth hidden within the facility.
STORY
Chance alone will determine the fate of each character... literally. To prevent any bias from influencing the outcome of the story, the killers, the mastermind (or masterminds), survivors, and victims were chosen at random. This means that the students within Danganronpa V3: Reimagined may have the same, a similar, or a different fate to what they did in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. All other aspects of the game, from the methods and motives behind each murder to the evidence presented in class trials and the executions that follow them, have been expertly designed from the ground up to ensure a complex but cohesive story which will keep the player entertained and invested from start to end, and even beyond.
STYLE
The original, mainline Danganronpa games, including Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, are all examples of 2.5D games, which make use of both 2D and 3D game assets to create their environments. For example, the hallways which the player traverses in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony are made of 3D structures, but most rooms that the player enters are composed of 2D images overlayed on one another to create the illusion of depth. This sometimes causes issues with perspective, in which the 2D areas seem flat, squashed or warped, while the characters standing within 3D environments seem out of place.Danganronpa V3: Reimagined will be a solely 2D game, combining top down 2D RPG aspects with the classic visual novel style that Danganronpa is well known for. Parts of the game will appear in a high-quality pixel art style, while others will appear as sleek, western-comic style art.Furthermore, all spoken dialogue within the game is planned to be fully voiced not with soulless artificially generated voices, but through the hired talent of skilled voice actors. Moreover, the player's journey will be accompanied by covered songs from the original franchise as well as original compositions in a dramatic, fantastical orchestral theme.
WORLD
The ending of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony remains a controversial topic within the fandom years after the games initial release. For many, the fourth wall breaking, world-destroying aspects of the final trial made for an incredibly poor conclusion to an otherwise excellent game, and even negatively impacted their view of the series as a whole.Danganronpa V3: Reimagined takes an entirely different approach to the story of Danganronpa, in which the complex world built within Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havok, Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, and Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy is not abandoned, but expanded upon, with Danganronpa V3: Reimagined being a chronological continuation to the twisted tale. Named concepts and events that may be familiar to fans of the original game - such as the Gofer Project, Team Danganronpa, and the Ultimate Hunt - are reimagined to seamlessly fit with the new story, the introduction of which is already available to read!
Welcome to the world of
Danganronpa V3: Reimagined
The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History, more frequently referred to as The Tragedy was a period of uncontrolled violence and meaningless death on a global scale between 2009 and 2016. The seven years of chaos originated from the once internationally acclaimed Hope’s Peak Academy; a prestigious high school in the heart of Tokyo, Japan, where students supposedly destined to lead the next generation in all aspects of society suddenly became its undoing. Their “Ultimate Talents,” which were intended to bring hope instead sewed despair, using their education at Hope’s Peak Academy, as well as the school’s resources, to further their goals. The exploitation of the weak and vulnerable by those who were once called the “best that humanity had to offer” caused global outrage and irrational fear, in which those considered talented, gifted, or powerful in any way were now viewed as selfish, arrogant, and corrupt, sparking riots throughout the world that were constantly fuelled by the vile actions and manipulation of the Ultimate Despair themselves, Junko Enoshima and Mukuro Ikusaba, along with their Remnants of Despair. The Tragedy would conclude in 2016 when the survivors of Class 78-A of Hope’s Peak Academy, with the aid of a peacekeeping and disaster management organisation known as The Future Foundation, defeated the Remnants of Despair and reunited the world under the banner of hope and a promise of a better future. With time, The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History became just that – history. A story to be feared. A memory to be haunted by.To a select few, however, it was a reminder that one person, or one group of people, should never be allowed to hold such knowledge, position, importance or otherwise, lest the world wished to be cast into chaos once more when that power was ultimately corrupted. Thus, when the survivors of Class 78-A and The Future Foundation unveiled The Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles in 2018, a high school that would continue the Ultimate Initiative from the now infamous Hope’s Peak Academy, this small group became enraged. They came together under the name of Team Danganronpa and worked to remind the world of The Tragedy’s lesson, regardless of how hypocritical their actions would become. It was this group that initiated the Ultimate Hunt, a secret operation to prevent the training of any prospective Ultimate Student or neutralise any existing one through the use of bribery, blackmail, brainwashing, or brutality, even using the methods of the Ultimate Despair where deemed, “necessary.”The terrorist group were active between 2018 and 2020 before The Future Foundation took action, carrying out a series of special operations in which they claimed to have apprehended and arrested every member of Team Danganronpa. If there were any left, they had gone into hiding, keeping low profiles as they waited for their next opportunity to strikeThe year is now 2025, and Class 8-A of The Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles are due to start their first day of high school, but their prospective futures are soon to be ruined as history repeats itself, plunging them all into a world of danger, distrust, destruction, and despair. Is Team Danganronpa making their return, resuming their Ultimate Hunt once more? Or is there something else, or someone else, entirely that the students need to fear? This is Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony like you’ve never seen before. This is Danganronpa V3: Reimagined.

FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN' VS THE QUAD-SQUAD
Friday Night Funkin’ VS The Quad-Squad was a planned mod for the rhythm game Friday Night Funkin', by Cameron “Ninjamuffin99” Taylor, David “PhantomArcade” Brown, Isaac “Kawai Sprite” Garcia and evilsk8r for Newgrounds. It was made using the Psyche Engine developed by ShadowMario, RiverOaken and bbpanzu. This mod was about the British content creator group known as the Quad-Squad which consists of 8-BitRyan, Baz, Dawko and Razzbowski.
Friday Night Funkin' VS The Quad-Squad (Demo V1)
CONCEPT
Demo V1 of the mod was available on Game Jolt for a few months from 2023 to 2024. Although it is no longer available to download, three playthroughs from different creators exist on YouTube are still available to view.
Demo V1 served two purposes. The first was to showcase the general concept of the mod, to tease what could or would come in the full release. But above all, it was an experiment, a test to see what did and didn’t work, what was easy or hard to implement, and of course, a way to gauge the audience’s reactions.
FEEDBACK
Feedback from Friday Night Funkin’ VS The Quad-Squad (Demo V1) was generally positive, with the music being considered a highlight of the mod. Feedback on charting was mostly positive, with some having no issue, although some felt like the charting did not make sense. It was noted that the colours of notes did cause some problems for some players, too. The backgrounds to each stage as well as the static sprites for each character were met with very positive feedback, however, the animations were lacking in some respects, with unnatural movements and visual artefacts being present within some characters.
RESPONSE
Although Friday Night Funkin’ VS The Quad-Squad was initially planned to have an overarching story, this idea was eventually deemed unnecessary after the release of the first demo. By removing the need for any dialogue, plot, and unique animations, more time and effort could be given to improving the charting and singing animations which the audience noted to be lacklustre in some places. Furthermore, more of the music that people enjoyed was planned to be composed.
WHAT COMES NEXT?
Friday Night Funkin’ VS The Quad-Squad (Demo V2) was planned to be developed over the summer of 2025, focusing on charting, gameplay mechanics, and music alone. However, an increasingly busy schedule and increasing interest in pursuing other projects meant that this project was put on an indefinite hiatus.

Where does the name SaberCatProductions come from?
During the early years of secondary school, which is the equivalent to middle school in other countries, there was a strange obsession with searching for people’s names online, especially on YouTube. Although at the time, my YouTube channel contained no content and existed simply so that I could comment on videos, I did not wish for it to be found by my peers (although I was in no means one of the popular students so likely would have never been found anyway).Despite being a competent writer, I can not make up names on the spot, so I decided to use a random word generator to quickly come up with something new. Running a webapp three times resulted in the words sabre, cat, and produce. The word sabre was altered to saber, in reference to the sabertoothed cat, while the word produce was altered to productions, giving the name saber-cat-productions. For whatever reason, I kept this name going forward, and it has remained my online username since 2015.
Who made your banner and profile picture?
The hexagonal patterned banner that can be found across my various social media profiles was thrown together by myself in a last-minute panic upon remembering that banners were even a thing. My profile picture, however, was a piece that I commissioned from the incredibly talented Holy_Fab, to which I added my own lighting. They were incredibly accommodating, willing to make any adjustment that I requested, and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. If you are seeking to commission an artist who specialises in an anime/comic style, I would highly recommend Holy_Fab. Their contact details and social media can be found below.

Why can't I listen to some of your songs on a certain platform?
DistroKid, the music distribution service that I use to release my music outside of YouTube, has a list of music streaming platforms that they can distribute music to – a list that I cannot add to nor change. There are also some platforms that I do not want my music to be published to, as there is little artist/creator support offered by them.
Although I generally have no issue in releasing any of my original songs, releasing covers of existing songs can be more complex. This is due to the fact that you must first purchase an appropriate licence from the original creator of the song (or their distributor) to gain permission to do so. Usefully, DistroKid assists it users in obtaining what is known as a mechanical licence, which allows them to release covers of songs to music streaming platforms, but only for those in the United States of America. To release covers globally, a separate, more expensive, and more difficult to obtain licence is required. Therefore, you may be unable to listen to my cover songs on your preferred platform due to this reason, but they will always be available to listen to on YouTube.
Why did I receive a copyright claim from you?
Generally, I do not submit any copyright claims manually. Therefore, if you have received a copyright claim for the use of my content, this is most likely caused by an automated service. If you have received an illegitimate copyright claim, please contact me via email and I will do my upmost best to help rectify the issue.
My Email: [email protected]
Why do I have to pay for some of your songs on a certain platform?
DistroKid, the music distribution service that I use to release my music outside of YouTube, has a list of music streaming platforms that they can distribute music to. If certain platforms are chosen, such as Amazon Music or iTunes/Apple Music, DistroKid requires you to set a price for your music to be sold at. I am unable to directly input a value and must instead pick from a list of preset values, none of which are zero. I therefore keep the prices set to their default value which is supposedly recommended via the platform. My music will always be available to listen to on YouTube, as well as many other music streaming platforms that are free to download, such as Spotify and YouTube Music.
Why do you message/text/write like that?
In England, all sixteen-year-old students are required to pass a set of exams known as the GCSEs. At the time, my GCSE English Language teacher rather insultingly implied that year on year, his students were performing worse in his classes due to their increasing reliance on abbreviations and lazy writing styles when texting. Years have passed since I first heard him say this, and I have long since left the school that he taught at, yet I continue my one-person mission of proving him wrong. Thus, I purposefully aim to use the best grammar, punctuation and spelling possible in whatever I write, including in normal conversations online. So, no, I am not a robot, and no, I do not use any form of artificial intelligence to write out any messages. Now please, leave me and my A* in GCSE English Language alone.
